This webinar provided an overview of the foreclosure process in MA and basic strategies to defend foreclosures. Advocates also reviewed the mortgage market including the different types of mortgages and investors, parties involved in mortgages, and steps you can take to help clients who fall behind on their mortgages.

This free webinar is part of a four-part consumer debt program to provide the knowledge attorneys need to assist low-moderate-income clients. This program is co-sponsored by the National Consumer Law Center and the Social Law Library and is funded by the Social Law Library’s Endowment to Promote Understanding of Consumer Issues.
