Matthew Osborne

2019 Rising Star

Mr. Osborne started his law firm in 2009, the day after he passed the bar exam. He started out doing bankruptcies and divorces, but fell into consumer protection law when a few friends started getting harassed by collection agencies for debts they didn’t owe. Shortly after that, his own identity was stolen, and his credit destroyed by a bank and a credit bureau for a debt he didn’t owe. Since then, he has been working on consumer protection cases, and has successfully represented hundreds of people who have been taken advantage of by large and powerful corporations.

Before he was an attorney, he was in the U.S. Navy for 5 years – he served at the Pentagon and was there for the 9/11 attacks. Mr. Osborne also served in Iraq from 2003-2004.

Mr. Osborne grew up in Arvada, CO. He is married and has two kids. His hobbies include fishing, hiking, traveling, reading, and suing big corporations.
