Michael Ferry

Michael Ferry is the president of the NCLC Board of Directors. Mr. Ferry is the executive director at the Gateway Legal Services, St. Louis, Missouri.

Michael Ferry, a St. Louis area native, is an experienced attorney recognized as a top lawyer by numerous groups including the National Consumer Law Center and SuperLawyers.

Mike has served people in the area for almost 4 decades. He grew up in southwestern Illinois, and moved to New York to attend law school at New York University. After graduating law school, he returned to the area and worked for Legal Services of Eastern Missouri for 19 years, first as Staff Attorney and later as Managing Attorney. He then helped create Gateway Legal Services, a self-supporting, non-government funded legal aid program, and served as its Executive Director for 20 years while continuing to handle a full caseload.

Mike was appointed to the NCLC Board in 1995.
