The Electronic Privacy Information Center (EPIC), the National Consumer Law Center (NCLC), on behalf of its low-income consumers, Consumer Action, Consumer Federation of America, the National Association of Consumer Advocates, National Consumers League, Public Knowledge, and U.S. Public Interest Research Group, file these
reply comments to applaud the Federal Communications Commission (“Commission” or “FCC”) for its response to carrier vulnerabilities leading to SIM swap and port-out fraud and to support the agency’s new rules and proposals while urging additional measures. These comments are intended to supplement the initial comments filed by EPIC.
