NCLC and partner organizations submitted a comment to the U.S. Department of Energy/Energy Information Administration (EIA) supporting the EIA proposal to require certain electric and gas utilities to report and make public monthly residential service disconnections data. To support racial justice objectives, NCLC and commenters recommended that disconnections data be reported at the zip code level.
