The National Consumer Law Center, on behalf of its low income clients, and the Center for Responsible Lending submit comments on proposed rulemaking under the California Consumer Financial Protection Law (CCFPL). The CCFPL gives the Department of Financial Protection and Innovation (DFPI) important new powers to protect consumers, and we are pleased to offer our views on how to use them.
