This case challenges the fraudulent and deceptive practices of solar company Sunrun Inc., on behalf of a low-income, Spanish-speaking, elder consumer. The case alleges that Sunrun’s installed of faulty solar panels on Mr. Lara’s house and charged him thousands of dollars (and will continue to do so for 25 years) despite never obtaining his signature on the documents or otherwise disclosing the exploitative contractual terms to him.
