An article appearing in Reverse Mortgage Daily on February 7, 2023 by Chris Clow features an interview with Sarah Bolling Mancini to discuss findings of a new report and policy recommendations. Mancini said the report is the culmination of numerous years worth of work.
“It has been an ongoing project, and we’ve been fortunate over the past few years to be able to really delve in deeply on reverse mortgage foreclosure issues because of generous support from the RRF Foundation for Aging that has been supporting our reverse mortgage advocacy work,” Sarah Bolling Mancini, senior attorney at NCLC said. “So really, this report is the culmination of three years of intensive work trying to prevent reverse mortgage foreclosures, and then wanting to dig into what the underlying causes are.”
